The Inpatient Program provides 24-hour care and supervision in a therapeutic environment. Our hospital accommodates 20 patients, which allows us to maintain a low patient-to-staff ratio. Accommodations include private rooms with private bathrooms.

50 years of age or older
Meet acute criteria which may include:
- Signs and Symptoms of depression
- Suicidal thoughts
- homicidal thoughts
- Danger to self or others
- Inability to manage daily activities
- Hallucinations (Auditory or Visual)

Who may be appropriate? (click to expand)
Those older adults who are having behavioral difficulties which may include:
- Aggressive behavior toward others
- Prolonged grief issues over the loss of a loved one
- Isolating from others
- Refusing to participate in normal activities
- Sleeping excessively or not enough
- Increased sadness or tearfulness
- Increase or decrease in appetite
- Decline in hygiene or self care/appearance
- Inappropriate sexual behavior
- Refusing to take medications or not taking as ordered
- Significant numbers of psychotropic medications
- Increased Confusion or Memory problems
Other symptoms can include increased complaining, false beliefs, bizarre behavior, fearfulness, paranoia, irritability or agitation, change in energy level, seeing or talking to things that aren’t there, change in mood, trouble concentrating, slowed thoughts, slowed movements, sudden weight changes.

- Monday – Friday 6pm to 6:45pm
- Saturday & Sunday 1pm to 4pm
Limit two visitors at a time; No visitors under 16 years of age; No personal items, cell phones, purses, food or drink.
